Rachel Bartholomew, Missouri Outreach Coordinator
Rachel Bartholomew is a sophomore at the University of Missouri majoring in Agricultural Education with a minor in Animal Science. Rachel grew up on a family farm in West-Central Missouri where her family raises registered Angus cattle and crossbred sheep.
At MU, Rachel is very involved with the Missouri Collegiate Cattle Women, serving as their Education Chair; Agricultural Education REPS team, Ag Ed Society; and the MU Alumni Association Student Board. In addition to college organizations, Rachel is involved with the Missouri Junior Cattlemen’s Association as a founding board member, and with the Missouri Junior Angus Association where she is currently serving as Secretary. In addition to school and extra-curricular organizations, Rachel’s hobbies include scrap-booking, reading, showing livestock, and playing the piano and flute.
While in high school, Rachel was actively involved in 4-H and FFA. As a member of FFA, Rachel was blessed with the opportunity to serve as the 2006-2007 Missouri State FFA Secretary. Rachel’s agricultural upbringing taught her the value of hard work, the joy of being involved in production agriculture, and so much more. Rachel is very excited to be working with Farm Safety 4 Just Kids and looks forward to helping spread the message of this great organization!
