Laura Larson - Outreach Coordinator for Iowa

Laura Larson is a sophomore at Iowa State University where she majors in Agricultural Business and Economics with a minor in Entrepreneurial Studies. Laura grew up on a farm in Northern Iowa where she helped her family raise corn and soybeans, and breed cattle.

Laura is actively involved in ISU’s Agricultural Business Club, the National Agri-Marketing Association, and the Agricultural Business Peer Mentor program. In her free time, she enjoys helping on the family farm. Her hobbies include four-wheeling, snowmobiling, and her Chevy El Camino.

Laura was active in 4-H and FFA in high school, which is when she first began working with the Farm Safety 4 Just Kids program. Her ag background has taught her first-hand the value of being safe around the farm. She is looking forward to spreading this message to others through her position as an Outreach Coordinator.
