Fawn Dauer, Minnesota Outreach Coordinator

Fawn Dauer is the youngest of four children and grew up on a farm in Springfield, MN. Because of her love of agriculture, she joined the Future Farmers of America (FFA) and Agriculture Future of America (AFA). Fawn got involved with FS4JK after she heard Marilyn Adams speak at the AFA Convention in Kansas City, MO. She wanted to do her part to keep the people in her community safe by educating them about farm safety so she got involved with the nearby Red Brownville chapter. She has learned a lot and had the opportunity to work with some outstanding people and businesses.

In her role as the Minnesota Outreach Coordinator, she hopes to share her knowledge about farm safety to students and adults. She’s currently a student at South Dakota State University and plans to graduate in May 2009 with a BA degree in Agriculture Journalism and Communications.
