Benefits of Becoming an Inactive Chapter

1. Inactive chapters pay no dues for a full year of inactive status. (Full member benefits may be reinstated at anytime by simply paying dues for said year.)
2. Inactive Chapters will receive notification of new products that may be bought at full non-member pricing. (Active chapters receive these for free.)
3. Chapter will remain on chapter listings and receive chapter mailings.

Lost Benefits Associated with Becoming an Inactive Chapter

1. Chapter does not qualify for chapter awards, grants, or special pricing
2. Chapter does not receive free resources normally sent to chapters free of cost.
3. Chapter does not receive new resources produced during the time of inactivity. New resources lost to chapters during the inactive period may be bought at the discount price upon reinstatement as an active chapter, or at full price while in inactive status.
4. Chapter will no longer be covered under FS4JK’s insurance umbrella

Eligibility

1. Chapter may only enter into inactive status once over a five year period.
2. Regardless of the enrollment month, an inactive year starts on June 1st of the current year and ends on May 31st of the following year, at which time renewal dues are due.

Expectations

1. Chapter will develop goals for reactivation with FS4JK Staff.
2. Chapter agrees to complete and return all inactive chapter reports and paperwork on time.
3. Chapter agrees to bring any past due balance on FS4JK purchases current prior to renewal date.

Dissolution

1. Dissolution of an inactive chapter will take place at the request of the chapter or at the expiration date of the inactive year if no dues have been received.
2. Payment of outstanding balances owed to FS4JK for purchased items is expected upon dissolution of the chapter.
3. Noncompliance with the above listed expectations will result in dissolution.
